Alison Bond
Alison has gained national recognition for her wide-ranging research into customer experiences.
Well known for her hands on approach and has worked successfully with many top organisations, encouraging them to completely rethink the way they interact with customers.
Alison is the joint author (with Prof. Merlin Stone) of the highly acclaimed Direct Hit, the textbook on direct marketing, and the Definitive Handbook of Direct and Interactive Marketing. Her and Merlin's book on Customer Insight (commissioned by the Market Research Society) was published in 2004. Alison has recently been made Assistant Course Director for the masters course in sustainable business at Centre for Sustainable Environmental Management, Brunel University.
Charmaine Kimpton
An honours graduate in business with a Chartered Institute of Marketing diploma and over 25 years' experience in B2B marketing, Charmaine's career has encompassed all aspects of marketing from strategic business planning and marketing research to corporate media relations and direct marketing.
Formerly marketing manager for transport planning and social research consultants, The MVA Consultancy, Charmaine's wide-ranging marketing and consultancy experience also includes transport, logistics, finance and accounting, with an emphasis on services and IT, particularly managed services and applications software.
Charmaine works closely with clients, liasing with senior management and sales and marketing personnel on research, consultancy, and communications strategy development, programme delivery and project management of specific activities to include awareness surveys, database management, telemarketing and mailing campaigns, literature production, public relations, exhibitions and event support.
Through her involvement with Shere Marketing, Charmaine has been instrumental in developing the Agency's presence in the built environment, technology and applications software/services markets.

Chris Jones
Chris has spent all his working life in the advertising
industry holding senior positions with Ogilvy & Mather, Doyle Dane Bernbach, KMP and The Lopex Group.
In 1983 he co-founded The Business Development Partnership (BDP) with the ex Chairman of Lopex
and the company was highly successful in attracting major Food and Drinks companies from overseas.
His client experience includes Bass, Beecham, Cadbury, Brooke Bond Oxo and Shell Consumer Products
in the UK and Bokomo, Friesland Coberco and Stellenbosch Farmers' Winery from overseas.
From this extensive hands-on experience, Chris has gained special expertise in providing overseas
companies with UK Market Entry advice.
Chris and his partner sold BDP in 2003 and now as well as acting as a consultant with Shere Marketing
is also non-executive Chairman of a UK Sales Agency and a Panellist for The Prince of Wales Trust.
Clive Husselbury
A marketing communications professional with 25 year marketing,
sales &
general management experience including 15 years in senior
B2B marketing
roles, handling all aspects of the marketing mix.
Clive's technical background with Chartered Engineer status
enables him to readily understand and communicate information
about technical products or concepts.
Having
worked for companies in a number of sectors including

David Crawford
David is a member of the British Association of Communicators in Business and the Transport associates Network. He has worked as a technical editor and writer, PR adviser, researcher and project manager, specialising in transport (including transport technology/intelligent transport systems - ITS) since 1995.
David also has extensive experience working with regional and local authorities in the UK and overseas, which has gained him in-depth knowledge of public authority media in the UK and of transportation media globally.

Eddie specialises is in the design and delivery of strategies and programmes to meet business objectives. Emma Tarring
A communications professional with over 20 years experience in B2B communications - predominantly in the IT and telecoms sectors.
Having cut her teeth as a IT and telecoms journalist during the mid-80s, she moved into PR, working for clients including Hutchison Whampoa, and TSB. She joined Mercury Communications in '93 and - after two years as head of media relations - was appointed head of corporate affairs when it became part of Cable & Wireless Communications, handling projects including writing annual reports, running the senior speaker programme and managing the sponsorship programme, including the Mercury Music Prize. She became a communications consultant in 1998 working for clients including Ericsson, Cable & Wireless, Nortel and Thus. She has also developed conference programmes for TMA (the UK's leading telecoms event) and Knowledge Management.
Emma's speciality is getting answers to tough questions - What can your products do for customers? Why is your business better than your competitors? - then developing communications strategies and tools that ensure that your messages reach the people who really need to hear about what you do.

Helen Baines
Helen has a dual role of project coordinator and designer.
Having gained a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design Helen gained wide-ranging
experience of developing marketing materials and branding whilst
working for a design agency in London, and then as a freelance
designer in Hong Kong. Throughout her career she has produced every
type of marketing communications. Her role has also included taking
responsibility for production of the materials and event management.
Helen is able to bring her design skills to every project whether
fulfilling the production or managing the work that passes through the studio.
Jan Eastaff
With over 10 years experience in marketing gained in both a fmcg and B2B environment,
Jan has wide-ranging experience of developing and co-ordinating marketing campaigns.
Working on not only the client side, for companies such as Booker McConnell, Helena Rubinstein
and Scottish and Newcastle Breweries, but also as senior team member with an PLC
marketing agency, Jan has worked on major campaigns for clients including Shell,
IBM and Unilever. Her role here included managing a wide range of projects from
sales force incentives and new product launches to developing new corporate identities.
Jan now relishes her role coordinating Shere projects where she continues to use her
professionalism to ensure projects are completed successfully to brief and on time.
John Foster
A fine arts graduate, initially working in advertising
and marketing through development and management of
a multi-million dollar promotional programme for an
USA based business, returning to the UK to launch Shere
Marketing in 1989.
John has managed projects for a very
wide range of B2B clients developing market communications
strategies and materials including Branding, Identity,
Literature, Web Sites, Direct Marketing, Advertising
and Exhibitions.
John's responsibilities include the direction of nearly
all creative work delivered by Shere Marketing, additionally
copywriting and concept development for promotional
campaigns.
Mark Broughton
A Public Relations and Marketing professional with over 24 years experience in the B2B arena.
Working in both the corporate and consultancy environments Mark has helped organisations to develop communications strategies and has implemented these through media and marketing programmes. Mark began his career in communications within the British Army, moving into the commercial world, specialising in the aerospace, defence, electronics and technology sectors, working for major internationals including Racal Electronics, Jane's Information Group, Marconi Electronic Systems, GEC and LogicaCMG. Mark has close ties with the trade bodies in these market sectors.

Richard Dymond
Richard Dymond has over 20 years' experience in corporate communications and issues management.
A Physics graduate, he trained as an editor and technical journalist with the Institution of Electrical Engineers.
Moving to the UK Atomic Energy Authority he worked on employee and technical publications before joining British Gas as an employee communications specialist. He held various posts within British Gas's corporate communications directorate, variously he was responsible for media relations, issues and crisis management, employee communications, marketing PR, PR sponsorship and parliamentary relations. Before he left the company in 2004 to become a consultant, Richard held the post of national media relations manager.

Sam McArthur
A search engine marketing professional with extensive experience in and promoting B2B websites, within a variety of industry sectors including manufacturing and business services in the SME sector. Sam also has over 10 years experience working with several blue chip companies.
